Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with the Clublio website at clublio.in (the "Site"). We care about your privacy and aim to be honest and clear about what does — and does not — happen with your data.
Clublio is currently a pre-launch "coming soon" page. It has no user accounts and no sign-up or contact forms. In practice, we collect very little, as described below.
Who we are
The data controller for the Site is Clublio Labs Pvt. Ltd. ("Clublio", "we", "us" or "our"), a private limited company incorporated in India. For any privacy questions, contact us at info@clublio.in.
What data we collect
We aim to keep this minimal. Today, the Site does not ask you for any personal information. Specifically:
- No accounts or forms. There is currently no login, no waitlist form, and no contact form on the Site, so we do not directly collect names, emails, or similar details from you.
- Server & CDN logs. Like most websites, our hosting and content-delivery provider may automatically record standard technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, referring page, and the date and time of your request. This is used for security, reliability, and basic operation.
- Minimal analytics. If we use a lightweight, privacy-friendly analytics tool, it may capture aggregate, non-identifying information about visits (for example, page views and approximate region). We do not build advertising profiles.
If and when we add an email waitlist or a contact option in the future, we would then collect the email address (and any details) you choose to provide. We will update this policy before doing so.
How we use data
We use the limited information above to:
- operate, secure, and maintain the Site;
- diagnose technical problems and prevent abuse or fraud;
- understand, in aggregate, how the Site is performing; and
- respond to you if you email us directly.
Where the law requires a legal basis (for example under the GDPR), we rely on our legitimate interests in running a secure, functioning website, and on your consent where consent applies.
Cookies & similar technologies
The Site currently uses no non-essential cookies and does not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any cookies or local storage in use would be strictly essential to the Site working (for example, basic security or preference storage). If we introduce non-essential cookies later, we will ask for your consent where required and update this policy.
Third-party services
The Site relies on a small number of reputable service providers to function:
- Hosting & CDN (for example, Vercel) to serve the Site and record standard technical logs.
- Google Fonts to deliver the typefaces used in the design; loading fonts may involve a request to Google's servers, which can process your IP address.
These providers process data on our behalf or under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy notices of any third parties you interact with.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it for third-party advertising. We may share limited information with our service providers (as above) strictly to operate the Site, or where we are legally required to do so, such as to comply with a valid legal request or to protect our rights and safety.
Data retention
We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here. Technical logs are typically retained for a short period by our hosting and analytics providers and then deleted or anonymised in line with their standard practices. If you email us, we keep that correspondence only as long as necessary to handle your request.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including serving the Site over HTTPS and relying on established hosting infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data — including the right to access, correct, update, or delete it, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent.
- If you are in the EEA or UK, you have GDPR-style rights, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
- If you are in India, you have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), including the right to access, correct, and erase your data, and to grievance redressal.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@clublio.in. Because the Site collects so little today, in many cases we may hold no personal data about you at all.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under the age of 13 (or 16 where a higher age applies under local law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own, including outside India or the EEA. Where information is transferred internationally, we rely on our providers' safeguards and applicable legal transfer mechanisms to protect it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, especially as Clublio moves from pre-launch toward launch and begins offering products or collecting data. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may be highlighted on the Site.
